Thanks to an extremely kind-hearted private donor, MPG Responsibility Now has managed to secure the necessary fundings to support our teacher's son for the next 3 years, as he seeks to finish his university studies.
Naay Ormtii Somintr - nickname Orm - is the son of Lan Mao, the main teacher at Somwang School. He is 22 years old.
Orm's parents have always made it their priority to be able to afford the education their son needs and deserves, given the disciplined, diligent and hard-working student Orm has constantly proven himself to be.
Having successfully finished his primary and secondary schooling, Orm recently left Fang in order to attend Ratchaphat University in Chiang Mai.
However with entrance fees being 1,960 baht, (which his father had to borrow from a friend) and every term costing 7,500 baht, Lan Mao, broken-hearted, was ready to pull his son out of university, realizing that he would not be able to afford these costs for much longer.
However, upon hearing about this and the zealous spirit of their son, the MPG team started looking for a private donor, who would be willing to support Orm for the years to come.
Today, we are happy to confirm that, through a 4-year engagement by a generous private donor, MPG Responsibility Now will be able to cover all of Orm's future university fees and assure that he gets the education he truly deserves!
