![]() The charity organization LUVE Singapore has recently provided and built a storage room for MPG's Somwang School! Because of the wonderful Phra Johnny Kiong, who visited the school earlier this year, Somwang School will from now on be able to keep its food items and school supplies in a safe place over long weekends and school breaks. Additionally Phra Johnny Kiong and his organization will also be sending 6 containers that will allow us to better the store the food rations and school material. Johnny also generously included some food supplies from his alms rounds in the shipment. The entire MPG team and the Somwang kids would like to express their deep gratitude to Johnny and his colleagues. Much love to LUVE Singapore, The MPG team Recently, MPG Responsibility Now! received a generous donation from Drees & Sommer Luxembourg S.à.r.l.
Drees & Sommer is a key player in the real estate sector in Luxembourg and internationally, setting the trend in the area of development management, infrastructure consulting, project management, real estate consulting and engineering. Convinced by the high impact of MPG's projects, this highly recognized firm has chosen to support our charity through a generous donation of €2000, which enables us to further improve the standards of Somwang School and the lives of its many students. The impact of this donation on the local community cannot be highlighted enough: In fact, MPG Responsibility Now!, in close collaboration with its local project manager, has decided to invest these funds in the expansion plan of Somwang School, with the long-term objective to host a larger amount of children in our school and respond to everyone's right to an education. Since the opening of Somwang School in May 2013,more and more students have come to our school as many families continue to flee out of Burma into Northern Thailand. This is just one of the many ways in which Drees & Sommer's donation of €2000 allows us to better respond to an increased demand for elementary level education among the children of refugees in Thailand. Of course, all of MPG's future developments and expansion efforts will continue to be documented on this blog. This is truly a memorable moment for MPG Responsibility Now! and more specifically the children at Somwang School, and we would like to take the opportunity to thank Drees & Sommer from the bottom of our hearts for their noble donation! With much gratitude, The MPG Team |
